The Deconstructed Sketch Challenge #204

Happy Thursday Everyone!!

It's time for a NEW sketch over at the
  
This will be the last sketch over at The Deconstructed Sketch!  I would like to thank Jen for giving me the opportunity to be part of this AMAZING team from the very first sketch.  I will miss working with her sketches and being inspired by my very  talented teammates.  

 This week I created a Father's Day card.  I kept the card design simple...used a monochromatic color scheme, a bunch of layers,  and added a textured background for good measure.

This week I created a Father's Day card featuring the Father's Day Plain Jane stamp and Nautical Die set from Verve Stamps.  I also used papers from the Black & Kraft Prints 6x6 pad from Canvas Home Basics.

The Deconstructed Sketch Challenge #199

Happy Thursday Everyone!!

It's time for a NEW sketch over at the
 
I have to confess that this weeks sketch was a bit of a challenge for me.  When I first saw the sketch I had these big plans to do something with watercoloring...well I've discovered that I'm water colored challenged.   I love watching tutorials...purchasing supplies...but for some reason I can't recreate what I see.  I will definitely be practicing!  In the mean time I pushed everything to the side and reached for some dies.  Hope you like what I came up with.
