Happy Father's Day

Popping in to wish all the Dads out there a very Happy Father's Day and to share the card that I made hubby this year.   I just LOVE The Man stamp set from Avery Elle...it's perfect for MASCULINE themed cards!

Seize The Birthday | The Challenge #74



Hello Everyone!!

I'm stopping in to share a card I made for my son's 17th birthday.  Not sure where the time has gone...he finishes up his junior year of high school in a couple days and will be getting his drivers license next month.  

I played along with a couple challenges....Seize the Birthday and The Challenge!  The topping this week over at STB was to add dimension to your cards.  As you can see...I popped up EVERY layer on the card!  I love doing this as it really adds that little something to a plain card.  The Challenge hosted a masculine theme with an inspiration photo.  I was inspired by the color black along with the circle shape of the mirror and steering wheel.

Retro Sketches | RS215

It's time for a NEW sketch over at Retro Sketches!!  
 
For today's sketch I was inspired to create a Father's Day card using the NEW Tie-rific stamps & coordinating dies from Reverse Confetti.  This sketch is perfect for a masculine card...I'm really trying to keep them CAS as possible.

Inspired By All The Little Things #15

Happy Saturday Everyone!!

It's time for a new challenge over at  Inspired By All The Little Things!!  

I was inspired by the fun geometric wall in this weeks inspiration photo.  To create my own fun backdrop I picked colors from the inspiration photo and used the Chunky Chevron Cover Up Die-Namics die from MFT.  I also used the new Tie-Rific stamps & dies from Reverse Confetti to complete my Father's Day card.  I love the clean design...a perfect masculine card.

For today's sketch I also played along with the current masculine inspiration challenge over at The Challenge.  I created a Nautical card using the Strong Anchor stamp set along with the Nautical Die Set from Verve Stamps.   The papers are from the Ahoy There 6x6 pad by Carta Bella.

The Curtain Call Challenge - Plush & Plaid

The Deconstructed Sketch Challenge #204

This will be the last sketch over at The Deconstructed Sketch!  I would like to thank Jen for giving me the opportunity to be part of this AMAZING team from the very first sketch.  I will miss working with her sketches and being inspired by my very  talented teammates.  

 This week I created a Father's Day card.  I kept the card design simple...used a monochromatic color scheme, a bunch of layers,  and added a textured background for good measure.

The Pink Elephant Challenge #302

I was not only inspired by the colors but also the nautical theme in this weeks inspiration photo.  The papers from Lawn Fawn's Beachside 6x6 pad were perfect.  I also used stamps from the Strong Anchor set from Verve Stamps.
