The Curtain Call Challenge - Birdhouse Reminder

There is still time to join us for the Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge: Birdhouse!

I'm back with take two...this time I was inspired by the scallops and mix of patterns in the inspiration photo.  To create something a little different I used a scallop square die to create the card base.  The tag, butterflies and sentiment are all from Paper Smooches.

Retro Sketches | RS212

It's time for a NEW sketch over at Retro Sketches!!  
This week's sketch is based off a card I created...you can find my original creation HERE.   For my retake I created another quick and simple Thank You card.  This time I used the Thanks Word Die from Lil' Inker Designs.  The papers are from the Chalkboard 6x6 pad by We R Memory Keepers.

For Today's sketch I was inspired to create a Teacher Appreciation card using a bunch of goodies from my stash.  My son only has 7 more weeks of school before summer break begins.  This school year went by too fast...especially since he will be graduating next year!!  Not sure how that happened so FAST!!

Inspired By All The Little Things #9

Happy Saturday Everyone!!

Today is my first official post as being part of the design team over at the By All The Little Things!! I'm so excited!!

 I will admit that I was a little nervous with today's inspiration photo... I LOVE the look of watercolor but usually stay clear of it since this technique falls way outside my comfort zone.  I was inspired by this card by Debbie Hughes (Lime Doodle Designs) awhile back and actually purchased a lot of the supplies in hopes of creating a similar background one day.  I will admit that I had a lot of fun playing with the distress crayons & inks and can't wait to do it again!
