Inspired By All The Little Things #16

Happy Saturday Everyone!!

It's time for a new challenge over at  Inspired By All The Little Things!!  

I was inspired by the bicycle in this weeks inspiration photo.  I went through my stash of papers and found these in an old MME pad.  I also used this weeks Viva La Verve sketch as a blue print to build my card.  Hope you join us!

The Curtain Call Challenge - Birdhouse | SPDSS53

It's that time again...Curtain Time!!
We are excited to present a new challenge, Birdhouse.
 

The LEAD of this challenge will be invited to be a guest designer in an upcoming challenge!

I was inspired by the fun mix of colors and patterns in this weeks inspiration photo...I decided to create a small note card (4 bar size: 3 1/2" x 4 7/8").  Instead of birds I used butterflies as my theme.  I used the Butterflies 3 die from Paper Smooches and a sentiment from the Funky Wreath - Spring Addition set from Sugar Pea Designs.

The Curtain Call Challenge - Neon Nicknacks Reminder

There is still time to join us for the Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge: Neon Nicknacks!  
You have until April 10th at 8:00 AM CDT to be inspired and share your project!

As I admitted last week I was intimidated by the inspiration photo since I normally use pastels and stay far away from florescent & neon colors.  It is good to step outside your comfort zone and try new things...for me it was using bright colored card stock.  I created another CAS card.  This is a little note card that measures 4 1/4" x 3 1/2".

Retro Sketches | RS #172

It's time for a NEW sketch over at Retro Sketches!!

This weeks sketch is based off a card I created when I was guest designing over at The Greeting Farm.  You can find the original card HERE.  I decided to change things up a bit and created a pretty friendship card using one of my favorite butterfly dies from Memory Box.  The papers are from the Now And Then 6x6 pad by My Minds Eye that I scored 50% off at Michaels last week.  Gotta love finding some clearance goodies!  The stamps are from the Salutations set from Paper Smooches.  I will also be entering my card in the Anything Goes Challenge over at Paper Smooches Sparks.

The Deconstructed Sketch Challenge #199

Happy Thursday Everyone!!

It's time for a NEW sketch over at the
 
I have to confess that this weeks sketch was a bit of a challenge for me.  When I first saw the sketch I had these big plans to do something with watercoloring...well I've discovered that I'm water colored challenged.   I love watching tutorials...purchasing supplies...but for some reason I can't recreate what I see.  I will definitely be practicing!  In the mean time I pushed everything to the side and reached for some dies.  Hope you like what I came up with.
