I created an Encouragement card featuring the Dahlia Background, Diagonal Plaid Background, Faith Word Die and a sub sentiment from the Sympathy Morning Glories stamp set. Links to all products used are at the end of the post.
Card Measurements:
White A2 Top Fold Card Base: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" (4 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2")
Whisper Heat Embossed Panel: 3 7/8" x 5 1/8"
White Scallop Border: 5/8" x 5 1/8"
Whisper Strip: 2 1/8" x 5 1/8"
White Strip: 2" x 5 1/8"
Vellum Dahlia: 3 7/8" x 3 3/4"
Whisper Faith Word Die: 2 3/4" x 1 1/2"
Whisper Sentiment Strip: 2 3/8" x 3/8"
Steps to Create Card:
- Create White A2 Top Fold Card Base measuring: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" (4 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2").
- Cut Whisper Panel measuring: 3 7/8" x 5 1/8" and heat emboss using Diagonal Plaid Background with VersaMark and White Embossing Powder.
- Cut Vellum A2 Panel measuring: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" and stamp and heat emboss using Dahlia Background with VersaMark ink and White Embossing Powder. Fussy Cut the flower.
- Die Cut White Scallop Border using Scallop Borders Die Set.
- Cut Whisper Strip measuring:2 1/8" x 5 1/8".
- Cut White Strip measuring: 2" x 5 1/8". Emboss strip with Tiny Dots Embossing Folder.
- Die Cut 3 Faith Word Die (1-Whisper and 2-White). Stack and glue dies together.
- Heat Emboss "You Are In My Prayers" sentiment from the Sympathy Morning Glories stamp set with VersaMark ink and White Embossing Powder. Trim to a sentiment strip measuring: 2 3/8" x 3/8".
- Assemble card.
- Embellish with Sparkling Clear Sequins.
