Spellbinders | Beautiful Backgrounds by Stampendous Collection

 Spellbinders NEW July 2024 Arrivals are NOW available and can be found in the store HERE. Today I am showcasing the NEW Beautiful Backgrounds by Stampendous Collection.  This collection consists of 4 NEW background Cling Rub stamps. 
 
I created three cards featuring the Emboss Resist Technique.

Card #1 - Hello

Card Measurements:
White A2 Top Fold Card Base: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" (4 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2")
White Heat Embossed/Ink Blended Panel: 3 7/8" x 5 1/8"
Hello Word Die: 2 3/4" x 1 1/2"
 
Steps to Create Card:
  • Create White A2 Top Fold Card Base measuring: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" (4 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2").
  • Cut White A2 Panel measuring: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2". Stamp Agapanthus (RSC-033) with VersaMarks and Heat Emboss with Detail White Embossing Powder.
  • Take Heat Embossed Panel and ink blend with Fossilized Amber and Spiced Marmalade Distress Oxide ink. When done, wipe panel with paper towel or microfiber cloth to remove any excess ink on embossing. Trim panel to measure: 3 7/8" x 5 1/8".
  • Die Cut "Hello" using A Little Hello Sentiments (SDS-191) with White, Yellow and Vellum. The yellow shadow was created by ink blending a scrap piece of white card stock. 
  • Assemble card.
  • Embellish with Sparkling Clear Sequins.

Card Measurements:
White A2 Top Fold Card Base: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" (4 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2")
Lovely Lavender Heat Embossed/Ink Blended Panel: 3 7/8" x 5 1/8"
White Essential Oval: 1 1/2" x 2 3/4"
Lovely Lavender Oval: 1 1/4" x 2 1/2"
 
Steps to Create Card:
  • Create White A2 Top Fold Card Base measuring: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" (4 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2").
  • Cut Lovely Lavender Panel measuring: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2". Stamp Floral Garden (RSC-032) with VersaMarks and Heat Emboss with Detail Gold Embossing Powder.
  • Take Heat Embossed Lovely Lavender Panel and ink blend with Lovely Lavender, Plum Punch and Edible Eggplant ink. When done, wipe panel with paper towel or microfiber cloth to remove any excess ink on embossing. Trim panel to measure: 3 7/8" x 5 1/8".
  • Glimmer "Hope All Is Well With You" sentiment using Overflowing Floral (GOM-AUG) with Lovely Lavender card stock and Gold Foil.  Use Essential Stylish Ovals (S5-562) measuring:1 1/4" x 2 1/2"  to die cut out.
  • Die Cut White Oval measuring: 1 1/2" x 2 3/4" using Essential Stylish Ovals (S5-562).
  • Assemble card.
  • Embellish with Gold Thread and Gold Sequins.

Card Measurements:
White A2 Top Fold Card Base: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" (4 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2")
Jelly Bean Green Embossed/Ink Blended Panel: 3 7/8" x 5 1/8"
Vellum Rectangle: 2 1/4" x 3 1/2"
White Rectangle: 2" x 3 1/4"
White Sentiment Strip: 2 3/4" x 1/4" 

Steps to Create Card:
  • Create White A2 Top Folding Card Base measuring: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" (4 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2").
  • Cut Jelly Bean Green Panel measuring: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2". Stamp Leafy Lines (RSC-031) with VersaMarks and Heat Emboss with Detail Clear Embossing Powder. Now do the same with the removeable section of the stamp on a piece of Jelly Bean Green. This small section will be fussy cut out to go under the sentiment.
  • Take Heat Embossed Jelly Bean Green Panel and ink blend with Jelly Bean Green and Fresh Asparagus ink. When done, wipe panel with paper towel or microfiber cloth to remove any excess ink on embossing. Trim panel to measure: 3 7/8" x 5 1/8".
  • Die Cut Vellum Rectangle measuring: 2 1/4" x 3 1/2" using Essential Rectangles (S5-411).
  • Die Cut White Rectangle measuring: 2" x 3 1/4" using Essential Rectangles (S5-411).
  • Glimmer "You're In My Thoughts" sentiment using Always and Forever Sentiment Strips Press Plate and Die (BP-025) with Hammermill card stock and Gold Foil. Use coordinating die.
  • Assemble card.
  • Embellish with White Cord and Spring Leaves Pearl Mix.
