details HERE.
I created a Christmas Shaker card using the NEW Snowflake Circle Cover Plate, Peace and Shadow die and the Wishing You mini stamp set from Gina K. Designs.
White A2 Top Fold Card Base: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" (4 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2")
Holographic Panel: 3 3/4" x 5" - Master Layout 1
Snowflake Circle Cover Plate Panel: 3 1/2" x 4 3/4"
Acetate Panel" 3 7/16" x 4 11/16"
Black Sentiment Strip: 2 1/2" x 1/4"
Peace: 2 1/2" x 1 1/2" (approx)
Steps To Create Card:
- Create White A2 Top Fold Card Base: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" (4 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2").
- Cut Holographic Panel with Master Layout 1: 3 1/2" x 4 3/4"
- Cut Layering Weight White Panel: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" and ink blend the entire panel with Plum Punch ink. Then with a light hand add Blue Denim around the edges for richness.
- Die cut ink blended panel with the Snowflake Circle Cover Plate. Panel size: 3 1/2" x 4 3/4".
- Cut Acetate panel: 3 7/16" x 4 11/16".
- Assemble Shaker Window (Snowflake Cover Plate Panel & Acetate) and add foam tape.
- Assemble Card: Attach Holographic panel to white card base, add shaker bits in a single layer and adhere Shaker window to the card base.
- Stamp and emboss sentiment on black card stock and emboss with white embossing powder.
- Cut out three Peace word dies (1 holographic and 2 white), next stack and glue them together to create an embellishment.
- Add Peace and sentiment strip to your card.
- For embellishments I added a large Rhinestone to the snowflake center.
