I'm back this week with another masculine birthday card. I tend to shy away from creating masculine cards until I'm in need of one...so I thought that I would challenge myself to create them more often. Plus I stumbled onto some new goodies from Canvas Home Basics last weekend at my local JoAnn's. I immediately fell in love with the black & craft color combo...what about you?
Supplies:
Paper: Kraft CS (Papertrey), Black CS, Corrugated CS (Canvas Home Basics), Black & Kraft Prints 6x6 pad (Canvas Home Basics); Stamps: Sentiment (My Favorite Things); Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black; Tools: Classic Rectangle Nestabilities (Spellbinders), Circle Punch (EK Success), Zig Zag Border Punch (Martha Stewart); Other: Grosgrain Ribbon, Brads, Foam Tape

ReplyDeleteMmmm, black and kraft, my favourite. A very elegant card. I particularly loved the extra mat behind the sentiment - I hope you don't mind if I case this. Have entered my card onto the DS blog, and given you credit and a link. Lynn x
