This is my last official post over at ABC Toys and Crafts as the term has come to an end.  I would like to THANK Julie for giving me the opportunity to be part of the design team for the last two terms...I have LOVED every minute!!

Today's card features the Hugs and Kisses Birds set by Hero Arts.  I love that this set can be used for more than just Valentine inspired projects.  The card base was created with the Sizzix Bigz Circle Scallop die.  I then used Classic Circle Nestabilities to create all the layers.  The little birdie is paper pieced.

This week at ABC Toys and Crafts I am sharing a card featuring Hero Arts Clear Design Cupcake Set!! 

The card base was created with the Lacey Square Nestabilities die. I love being able to use my nesties for more than just layering images.  I also used the Perfectly Paisley Embossing Folder to add some texture.

Happy Wednesday Everyone!!

This week over at ABC Toys and Crafts I am sharing a Clean & Simple birthday card featuring the Engraved Flower by Hero Arts!!  It's part of their Cling Stamp Line.  To create the background I stamped the image in gray and then stamped the sentiment  in black.  The main flower layer was also done this way and then I used the Classic Square Nestabilities to cut it out.  The sentiment is from Penny Black's Sweet Wishes set.

ABC DT Challenge - Anything Goes

This week over at ABC Toys and Crafts I'm featuring this Masculine Birthday card that I created using a key from My Cute Stamps fun Key Cutouts set. They are thin chipboard pieces that come in white. It was quick and easy to color up the key with a black Copic Marker to coordinate with monochromatic theme.

I've had this punch for a long time but just recently seem to have made it one of my favorite go-to punches for my spring time projects that I have been working on. This week over at ABC Toys and Crafts I created this card featuring Martha Stewart's Double Craft Punch called, Easter Egg Basket. I punched it out twice to add a little dimension. The eggs are dusted with glitter for a touch of sparkle. They are layered on a Classic Circle and Labels Twenty-Two Nestabilities. The background grid was created using a Scor-Pal. I scored the paper every 1/2" to create a fun grid pattern.

This week over at ABC Toys and Crafts I created this card featuring a Cling Stamp from Hero Arts called, "Little Girl With Heart". Isn't she adorable?? I used Copics to color the image and the papers are from Authentique's Free Birds Series called the Nest - Endless & Fair Weather. I also used Martha Stewart's Pinking Scallop border punch. I didn't have pearls to match so I pulled out some plain white and colored them with coordinating Copics to ensure the perfect match. Another reason to {heart} your copics!!
