Spellbinders | Amaryllis Christmas Collection

Spellbinders NEW October 2024 Arrivals are NOW available and can be found in the store HERE. Today I'm sharing cards featuring the NEW Amaryllis Christmas Collection by Yana Smakula.
 
My cards feature the NEW Festive Poinsettias BetterPress and Stencil Bundle (BD-0898) and Home For Christmas Sentiments Press Plate & Die Set (BP-220) foiled with Matte Gold Foil (GLF-002) for a bit of shine. Please note that the coordinating stencil is only available in the bundle.

Card #1 - Merry Christmas

Card Measurements:
White A2 Top Fold Card Base: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" (4 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2")
Tranquil Teal Panel: 3 7/8" x 5 1/8"
White Foiled Panel: 3 3/4" x 5"
Vellum Strip: 5" x 1 1/2" (wrap around panel and attach to back)
Tranquil Teal Sentiment: 2 1/2" x 1"

Steps to Create Card:
  • Create White A2 Top Fold Card Base measuring: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" (4 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2").
  • Die Cut Tranquil Teal Panel measuring: 3 7/8" x 5 1/8" using Precision Layering A2 B (S5-494).
  • Cut A2 White Panel measuring: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" and foil Festive Poinsettias BetterPress and Stencil Bundle (BD-0898) using Matte Gold Foil (GLF-002). Next use the coordinating stencil to color with Sea Glass, Turquoise Sea, Tranquil Teal, Fresh Asparagus and Prickly Pear ink. Trim panel to measuring: 3 3/4" x 5" using Precision Layering A2 A (S5-487).
  • Foil "Merry Christmas" sentiment using Home For Christmas Sentiments Press Plate & Die Set (BP-220) foiled with Matte Gold Foil (GLF-002) and Tranquil Teal card stock. Die cut with coordinating die.
  • Cut Vellum strip measuring: 5" x 1 1/2" . You will wrap around foiled panel and attach in the back to hide adhesive.
  • Assemble card.
  • Embellish with Aura AB Color Essential Gems (SCS-168).

Card #2 - Season's Greetings


Card Measurements:
White A2 Top Fold Card Base: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" (4 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2")
Tranquil Teal Panel: 3 7/8" x 5 1/8"
White Foiled Panel: 3 3/4" x 5"

Tranquil Teal Sentiment: 2 3/8" x 1 1/4"

Next use the coordinating stencil to color with Red Hot, Red Velvet, Cherry Red, Jelly Bean Green, Dark Spruce and Prickly Pear ink. Trim panel to measuring: 3 3/4" x 5" using Precision Layering A2 A (S5-487).
  • Foil "Season's Greetings" sentiment using Home For Christmas Sentiments Press Plate & Die Set (BP-220) foiled with Matte Gold Foil (GLF-002) and Red Hot card stock. Die cut with coordinating die.
  • Cut Vellum strip measuring: 5" x 1 1/2" . You will wrap around foiled panel and attach in the back to hide adhesive.
  • Assemble card.
