It's time for the first challenge of 2024 over in the Sweet 'N Sassy Stamps VIP Group on Facebook. This month we are challenging you with a "LOVE" Theme! You just need to create a "Valentine, Anniversary or Wedding" type of card featuring the "LOVE" theme along with at least one SNSS product for a chance to WIN our monthly prize drawing. I created a Valentine card featuring Sweet 'N Sassy Stamps Hearts and Bold Caps Alpha die sets along with a sentiment from the Love Wordfetti stamp set framed in the Stitched Rectangle die set. The background features the Bitty Hearts Stencil and texture paste.

Card Measurements:

Heavy Weight White Card Base: 4 7/16" x 5 3/4"

Red Hot Scallop Rectangle: 4 3/16" x 5 1/2"

White Mat: 3 9/16" x 2 3/4"

Red & White Stripe Panel: 3 9/16" x 2 5/8"

Red Rectangle Mat: 3 3/16" x 4 1/2"

White Stitched Panel: 3 1/16" x 4 3/8"

Black Sentiment Strip: 2 1/16" x 1/4"

Steps to Create Card:

Create White Top Folding Card Base measuring: 4 7/16" x 5 3/4". With oversized card you will need to create a hinge card. Cut top panel measuring: 4 7/16" x 5 3/4". Cut bottom panel measuring: 4 7/16" x 6 3/4", score top of panel at 5 3/4" to create 1" hinge. Fold to the front and add strong adhesive and attach to the back of the top card panel. Use Heavy Weight White card stock.
Die Cut Scallop Panel measuring: 4 3/16" x 5 1/2" with Red Hot card stock using Stitched Rectangles die set.
Cut White Mat measuring: 3 9/16" x 2 3/4".
Cut Red & White Stripe Panel measuring: 3 9/16" x 2 5/8".
Cut Red Velvet Mat measuring: 3 3/16" x 4 1/2".
Die Cut White Stitched Panel measuring: 3 1/16" x 4 3/8" using the Stitched Rectangles die set.
Take White Stitched Stencil and Bitty Hearts Stencil with Distress Texture Paste Matte.
Die Cut 5 Hearts in Red Velvet and Red Hot card stock using the Hearts die.
Die Cut an "X" and "O" in Red Velvet card stock with the Bold Caps Alpha die set.
Stamp "Happy Valentine's Day" and emboss in white using the Love Wordfetti stamp set.
Assemble card.
Embellish with twine and rhinestones.
