It's time to reveal Day 1 of Spellbinders 2023 Crafty Advent Calendar! For the next 24 Days I will be sharing what's behind each door along with a project featuring how I've used it.

Drum roll...behind Door number 1 is the most adorable little Car Die!!!
I created a little shaped tag using the car die (S2-369 W1) along with the Essential Arches (S5-526). I pulled out the Make It Merry paper pad (SCS-294) and Make It Merry Cardstock Pack (SCS-296) from the Make It Merry Card Kit released earlier in the year. For my sentiment I used the Mini Christmas Sentiment Strips Hot Foil & Die (GLP-296) foiled in gold.
Never made a shaped tag/card? It's as easy as cutting out two of the shapes and attaching them together to create the little card base. I find using a scor board and scoring about 1/2" down on the back die cut and attaching then with heavy duty two sided tape works great. You will then fold on the line to make it easy for the recipient to open and read the message.
Tag Measurements:
White Arch Card Base: 3" x 4 1/4"
Red Arch Panel: 3" x 4 1/4"
Pattern Paper Arch Panel: 2 3/4" x 2 7/8" Floral, 2 3/4" x 1/8" Gold Mirror and 2 3/4" x 1 1/8" (Green Gingham)
Car: 2 3/4" x 1 1/2" (approx)
Red Sentiment Strip: 2 1/4" x 1/4"
