Halloween is one of my favorite holidays to create for and I immediately fell in love with the NEW Halloween Icons Press Plate & Die Set and the Spider Web Press Plate from the BetterPress Halloween/Fall Collection.
I started off creating the background panel with an A2 Porcelain Cotton Card Panel and the BetterPress Spider Web Press Plate with BetterPress Black ink and then ink blended a with Distress Oxide ink (Wilted Violet, Seedless Preserves and Fossilized Amber). For a little texture I added white & black splatters (Picket Fence Distress Spray Stain & Black Soot Distress Paint). Next I took the image and sentiments from Halloween Icons with another piece another A2 Porcelain Cotton Card Panel and used BetterPress Black ink. This set does not have a coordinating die set for the images so I fussy cut the gravestone. The image and sentiment are popped up. For embellishment I added a few clay stars. It was quick & easy and definitely a design that you could mass produce.

White A2 Top Fold Card Base: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" (4 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2")
Spider Web Panel: 3 3/4" x 5"
RIP Image: 1 3/4" x 2 1/4 (approx)
Sentiment: 2 1/2" x 1/4"
