I created a mini slimline card featuring the Peace Love and Joy mini stamp set and a sentiment from the Perfect Poinsettia stamp set by Gina K. Designs.
I started off with a panel of Tranquil Teal card stock cut down to a mini slimline sized panel (2 7/8" x 5 7/8") before I stamped the snowflake image in both corners and embossed with gold embossing powder. I then used Tranquil Teal and Blue Denim (with a very light hand) and ink blended the outer edges. This is what adds the richness to the layers. The gold mats were created with layering white card stock that I inked the edges with embossing ink and embossed with the same gold embossing powder. This is a trick to saving gold card stock and getting all your gold accents to coordinate on your project. For embellishment I added a few gold pearls. All supplies used are listed below.
White Mini Slimline Card Base: 3 1/2" x 6 1/2"
Gold Mat: 3" x 6" - Master Layout 7
Tranquil Teal Panel: 2 7/8" x 3 7/8" - Master Layout 7
Gold Rectangle Mat: 2 1/8" x 2 7/8" - Master Layout 7
Stitched Rectangle: 2" x 2 3/4" - Master Layout 7
Gold Circle Mat: 2 1/4" - Master Layout 3
Tranquil Teal Stitched Circle: 2 1/8" - Master Layout 3

I love the snowflakes design which I also own. And it looks so stunning in the gold and with the teal.
