Happy Tuesday Everyone!! It's time for a challenge over at Tuesday Morning Sketches!! This week Melissa has given us a twist and there isn't a sketch but has given us a challenge to use Ribbon. Ribbon needs to be as much of a focal point as possible or at least the biggest embellishment.

For my card I used the Katie Mushroom digital image from Little Paper Shop and made the Ribbon the only embellishment. I just love using ribbon on my projects!!

Happy Tuesday Everyone!! It's time for another fabulous challenge over at Tuesday Morning Sketches!! This week the challenge is being sponsored by Pez-A-Doodle Designs. Marti was so generous and let each of us do a little shopping in the store. I choose the NEW Halloween Skittle Bugs set. These are super cute stamp sets and are exclusive to Pez-A-Doodle Designs. The set includes a set of stamps and some Skittles that are used as a 3-D embellishments. Additional Skittle packs are available.

I used a little spider web stamp out of Studio G's Series 34 for the background before stamping the Skittle bugs. The webs were stamped off with Going Gray ink. I then broke out some of my new Halloween punches to use as accents. This was a real fun card to put together and can't wait to make more!

Hello Everyone!!

I have had the honor of being asked by Melissa Craig to be a Guest Designer for the month of September at Tuesday Morning Sketches!! I am super excited!!

Melissa has a fabulous sketch for us to work with this week and the challenge is being sponsored by Sassy Studio Designs.

For this challenge I created a 5 1/2" square card and used the adorable Go Go Girl digital image from Sassy Studio Designs. The image is colored with copics and is cut out with a nestie and layered with a 2 1/2" circle punch instead of the normal nestie layers. I found that this was a tad cozier fit.

Tuesday Morning Sketches & Bee Crafty Challenges

Hello Everyone!! This morning I had a chance to play with some new digi's that I recently purchased. I used this weeks Tuesday Morning Sketch and Bee Crafty's Summer Fun theme. I came up with this fun card that would be perfect for a summer time birthday. The images are Mermaid Emma by All that Scraps and Underwater Border by Whimsie Doodle. I used copics to color the images and SU chalk for the background. (I need to order a copic airbrush!!!) The oval is embossed with the bubble embossing folder, the sentiment is computer generated, and tons of pearl accents. Thanks for stopping in and have a Magical Day!!

Tuesday Morning Sketches & Bee Crafty Challenges

Another Challenge Completed!!!

I had a chance yesterday to play around with Mel's fabulous sketch over at Tuesday Morning Sketches. I had so much fun making this card. I pulled out some yummy Bo Bunny paper from the Gift of Love Collection and Couch Riley. I had bought this stamp to make my Valentines' this year but it never got inked. While I was making the card I decided to make it my Anniv card for DH, we will be celebrating our 16 year in October. I am excited to get a card done way ahead for a change. I used copics, rectangle nesties, and red pearls & a teal button for accents. The floss on the button was colored with copics to match.
