 Spellbinders NEW May 2024 Arrivals are NOW available and can be found in the store HERE. Today I'm back with another card featuring the NEW Summer Fun by House Mouse Collection.

 

My card features the NEW Sweet Birthday (RSC-027) from the Summer Fun by House Mouse Collection. I used Pinkfresh Licorice ink with my Misti and did not remove the stamp. I then used Copic Markers to color before placing the panel back into my Misti to re-stamping it with VersaFine Clair Nocturne ink to give it a crisp black outline. This step is totally optional and you can start off by just stamping the image in black ink and color.

 

Card Measurements:

White A2 Top Fold Card Base: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" (4 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2")

Bubblegum Embossed Panel: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2"

White Arch Panel: 3 1/4" x 4 1/2"

 

Copic Markers Used:

Mouse: T2, T4, T6 (Fur) and E50, E51, E93 (Skin)

Hat/Candles/Cake Dish: R81, R83, R85

Cake: E23, E25, E27 (Frosting) and YR21, YR23 (Cake)

Ground: W2, W1

Steps to Create Card: 

• Create White A2 Top Fold Card Base measuring: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" (4 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2").
• Cut Bubblegum A2 Panel measuring: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" and emboss with Floating Balloons 3D Embossing Folder (E3D-062). Take White Pigment ink pad direct to card stock to make balloon pop.
  
• On a White A2 Panel stamp Sweet Birthday (RSC-027) with Pinkfresh Licorice ink using a stamp positioner and don't remove the stamp. Color image with Copic Markers. Place panel back into stamp positioner and re-stamp with VersaFine Clair Nocturne ink. This will give you a crisp image. Die Cut panel with Essential Arches (S5-526) to measure: 3 1/4" x 4 1/2".
• Assemble Card.
• Embellish with Buttons Galore Crystal Stars and Diamond Stickles on the Party Hat & Candles .

My card features the NEW Pop! (RSC-029) from the Summer Fun by House Mouse Collection. I stamped it with Pinkfresh Licorice ink with my Misti and did not remove the stamp. I then colored it with Copic Markers and put back in my Misti and stamped it with VersaFine Clair Nocturne ink to give it a crisp black outline. 

Card Measurements:

White A2 Card Base: 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" (5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored at 4 1/4")

White Embossed A2 Panel: 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" 

Pink Polka Dot Pattern Paper Strip:  2 1/2" x 4 1/4"

Pink Mat: 4 7/8" x 3 5/8"

White Panel: 4 3/4" x 3 1/2"

Pink Sentiment Mat: 1 7/8" x 1/2"

White Sentiment Strip: 1 13/16" x 3/8"

Copic Markers Used:

Mouse: W1, W2, W3, W4 (Fur) and R11, R12 (Skin)

Bee: YR23 (Body) and BG000 (Wings & Trail)

Bubble: R81, R83

Wrappers: Y11, Y23 & R83

Ground: W1, W2 

Steps to Create Card:

• Create White A2 Card Base measuring: 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" (5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored at 4 1/4").
• Cut White A2 Panel measuring: 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" and emboss with Puff Dotty 3D Embossing Folder (E3D-036). 
• Cut Pink Polka Dot Pattern Paper Strip measuring: 2 1/2" x 4 1/4".
  
• Die Cut Bubblegum Mat measuring: 4 7/8" x 3 5/8" using Precision Layering A2 B (S5-494).
• Stamp image from Pop! (RSC-029) with Pinkfresh Licorice ink using a stamp positioner and don't remove the stamp. Color image with Copic Markers. Place panel back into stamp positioner and stamp with VersaFine Clair Nocturne ink. This will give you a crisp image. Die Cut panel with Precision Layering A2 A (S5-487) to measure: 4 3/4" x 3 1/2".
• Stamp "Just Be Yourself" sentiment from Pop! (RSC-029) with VersaFine Clair Nocturne ink. Trim to sentiment strip measuring: 1 13/16" x 3/8". Cut Bubblegum mat measuring: 1 7/8" x 1/2".
• Assemble Card.
• Embellish with Ballerina Pink Confetti Sequins and Clear Overlay Glitter Pen.
