This set is perfect for the book lover in your life. I created a CAS (clean & simple) card using one of the images along with Spellbinders Stacked Stories 3D Embossing Folder (3EOM-MAY25).

 Today I'm showcasing the NEW Sparkle & Shine Stamp & Cut of the Month.

My card features the NEW Sparkle & Shine Stamp & Cut of the Month along with the string of lights from the Twinkle Lights Die of the Month. I went with a CAS (clean and simple) layout and added a little sparkle to the light bulbs by using glitter card stock. For added texture I use gold cord from my stash.

Today I'm showcasing the NEW Pick of the Patch Stamp & Cut of the Month.
 

 Here's the card I created with the set...
 
Card Measurements:
White A2 Top Fold Card Base: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" (4 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2")
Tuscan Panel: 3 3/4" x 5"
Vellum Circle: 2 1/4"
Sentiment Die Cut: 2" x 1 5/8"

I wanted to create an "elegant" background panel using the set a little differently. I took a piece of Tuscan card stock and placed it in my stamp positioner and randomly placed the out line stamps from the set on the bottom half of the card stock. This allowed me to stamp and then add embossing powder to the first stamping before rotating the panel to stamp the other half. I then added embossing powder and heat embossed the full panel with gold embossing powder. I then used a couple inks from my stash to add a little richness before adding gold splatters. I finished the card with adding the sentiment and some gold sequins.

Card Measurements:
White A2 Top Fold Card Base: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" (4 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2")
Edible Eggplant Panel: 3 3/4" x 5"
 
The background panel was created with a panel of Edible Eggplant card stock from my stash and I ink blended with a combination of Edible Eggplant and Black ink. I then added a little splatter using Spellbinders Raven Splatter Effects and Spellbinders Sparkle Splatter Effects.

Sea Glass Embossed/Ink Blended Panel: 3 7/8" x 5 1/8" 
Tranquil Teal & Turquoise Sea Strips: 5" x 1/8" 
 
Steps to Create Card:
  • Create White A2 Top Fold Card Base measuring: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" (4 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2").
  • Cut Sea Glass Panel measuring: 3 7/8" x 5 1/8". Stamp and Heat Emboss panel using Cobble Stone Cling of the Month with Versamark ink and Clear Embossing Powder.
  • Ink Blend Embossed Panel using Sea Glass and Turquoise Sea ink.
  • Cut 2 Tranquil Teal Strips: 5" x 1/8" . 
  • Cut 2 Turquoise Sea Strips: 5" x 1/8".
  • Stamp Hello", "Friend" and "You're the Best" using Sending Big Hugs Stamp & Cut of the Month with Black ink on White card stock. Die Cut out with coordinating die.
  • Assemble card.
  • Embellish with White Enamel Dots.

Card Measurements:
White A2 Top Fold Card Base: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" (4 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2")
Shoreline Panel (built up from bottom panel by tearing each layer):
    Waterfall: 3 7/8" x 5 1/8"
    Dune: 3" x 5 1/8"
    Vellum: 2 7/8" x 5 1/8"
    Teal Topaz: 2" x 4 1/4"
    Tranquil Teal: 1 5/8" x 3 1/8"
White "One Day At A Time" Sentiment Strip: 2 5/8" x 3/8"
White "Friend" Sentiment Strip: 7/8" x 1/4"
 
Steps to Create Card:
  • Create White A2 Top Fold Card Base measuring: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" (4 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2").
  • Create Shoreline Panel. You will need an A2 Panel of Waterfall, Dune, Vellum, Teal Topaz and Tranquil Teal card stock. You will build up from your A2 Panel of Waterfall (Bottom Panel). Each layer will be torn and added to create the textured shoreline. The approximate measurements are Dune: 3" x 5 1/8",  Vellum: 2 7/8" x 5 1/8", Teal Topaz: 2" x 4 1/4" & Tranquil Teal: 1 5/8" x 3 1/8".
  • Stamp Shells using Seashell Stamp & Cut of the Month with Kraft and Charcoal Brown ink on White card stock. Die cut out with coordinating dies. 
  • Stamp "One Day At A Time" sentiment using Seashell Stamp & Cut of the Month with Black ink on White card stock. Die cut out with coordinating die.
  • Stamp "Friend" sentiment using Hiya Friend Stamp & Cut with Black ink on White card stock. Use coordinating strip die and trim to measure: 7/8" x 1/4".
  • Assemble card.
  • Embellish with Sparkling Clear Dew Drops.
