Spellbinders NEW August 2024 Arrivals are NOW available and can be found in the store HERE. Today I'm back with another card featuring the Happy Haunting Collection.

Today's card features the NEW Fiona the Dancin' Witch (S4-1385). I also used dies from the Woof-or-Treat (S3-521), Halloween Wreath Add-On (S5-601), Spider Web Background (BP-080) and a sentiment from Halloween Icons (BP-079).

Card Measurements:

White A2 Top Fold Card Base: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" (4 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2")

Purple Mist Ink Blended/Foiled Panel: 3 5/8" x 4 7/8"

Porcelain Pressed Sentiment Strip: 2 5/16" x 1/4"

Steps to Create Card: 

• Create White A2 Top Fold Card Base measuring: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" (4 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2").
• Cut Purple Mist A2 Panel measuring: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2". Ink blend around sides of panel with Wild Lilac ink. Foil Panel using Spider Web Background (BP-080) with Black Foil. Trim panel to measure: 3 5/8" x 4 7/8" using Precision Layering A2 A (S5-494). Touch up ink blending with Wild Lilac ink and lightly add Black Onyx ink. Add Black Paint splatters using Black Soot Distress Paint and set aside to dry.
  
• Die Cut Witch and Broom using Dancin' With (S4-1385) with White, Black, Barely Peach, Peridot, Chamomile, Lilac Blossom, Royal Amethyst, Timber and Mirror Gold card stock. Add highlights to broom with Sweet Corn ink.
  
• Die Cut Pumpkin Treat Holder using Woof-or-Treat (S5-521) with Black and Peridot card stock. Add ink highlights with Fresh Asparagus ink.
• Die Cut 3 Bats using Halloween Wreath Add-On (S5-601) with Black card stock.
• Press "Happy Haunting" sentiment using Halloween Icons (BP-079) with Black BetterPress ink and Porcelain Cotton card stock.
• Assemble card.

My card features the NEW Woof-or-Treat (S3-521) along with the Spider Web Background (BP-080) and a sentiment from Halloween Icons (BP-079).

Card Measurements:

White A2 Top Fold Card Base: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" (4 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2")

Tangerine Foiled/Ink Blended Panel: 3 5/8" x 4 7/8"

White Ghosts: 1 7/8" x 2 5/8" 

Black Bat: 1" x 3/4"

White BetterPress LetterPress Sentiment Strip: 2 7/8" x 1/4" 

 

Steps to Create Card:

• Create White A2 Top Fold Card Base measuring: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" (4 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2").
• Cut Tangerine A2 Panel measuring: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2". Ink blend panel around the edges with Tangerine ink. Foil panel using Spider Web Background (BP-080) with Black foil. Trim panel to measure: 3 5/8" x 4 7/8". Touch up ink blending with Tangerine ink and add a light hand with Black Onyx ink. Add Black paint splatter using a fan brush and Black Soot Distress Paint. Set panel aside to dry.
• Die Cut two Woof-or-Treat (S3-521) with White, Black, Portobello, Latte, Timber and Tangerine card stock. Add Charcoal Brown ink highlights to pups and Tangerine to bottoms of pumpkins.
  
• Die Cut Black Bat using Halloween Wreath Add-On (S5-601).
  
• Press "Sending Spooky Hugs" sentiment using Halloween Icons (BP-079) with Porcelain BetterPress Cotton Panel and BetterPress Black ink. Use coordinating die.
• Assemble card.
• Emblellish Ghosts' noses with Glaze 'n Glue.

Do you make Halloween cards? I love making holiday cards and Halloween cards are one of my favorite! 

 

Today's card features the NEW Witchin' Heels (S3-525) and a sentiment from All Seasons Autumn Sentiments (BP-171).

 

Card Measurements:

White A2 Top Fold Card Base: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" (4 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2")

White Stenciled Panel: 3 7/8" x 5 1/8"

Yellow Circle: 2 3/4"

Black Foiled Sentiment: 2 3/16" x 5/8"

 

Steps to Create Card:

• Create White A2 Top Fold Card Base measuring: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" (4 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2").
• Cut A2 White Panel and use Cloudy Day Stencil with Chipped Sapphire Distress oxide and Black Soot Distress Oxide inks to create cloudy background. Add White Splatters using Splatter White Opaque Watercolor. Set panel aside to dry. Cut panel down to measure 3 7/8" x 5 1/8".
• Die Cut Chamomile Circle measuring: 2 3/4" using Everlasting Circles (S4-1280) for moon. Add ink blending around edges with Fossilized Amber Distress Oxide ink. Add White Splatters using Splatter White Opaque Watercolor.
• Die Cut Witch using Witchin' Heels (S3-525) with Black card stock and Purple from Peacock Glitter Foam.
• Die Cut Black Bats using Halloween Wreath Add-On (S5-601).
• Hot Foil "Trick or Treat Sentiment" using Seasons Autumn Sentiments (BP-171) using White Opaque Foil on Black card stock. Use coordinating die.
• Assemble card.
