Color Hues Color Challenge #105 | A Little Something To Make You Smile

It's time for us to share the next Hues of Color over at the Color Hues Challenge Blog! The colors that have been chosen for you to create with are White and Green for the next two weeks! We can't wait to see how you are inspired!
 
I had a little fun and created a dramatic background using a dark forest green card stock that I embossed and added gold splatters. I love how the floral arrangement featuring white, green and gold pop against the dark background. 
 
Card Measurements:
White A2 Top Fold Card Base: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" (4 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2")
Forest A2 Embossed Panel: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2"
BetterPress Porcelain Sentiment: 3" x 3/4"
 
Steps to Create Card:
  • Create White A2 Top Fold measuring: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" (4 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2").
  • Cut Forest A2 Panel measuring: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2". Emboss panel using Mandela Blooms 3D Embossing Folder (E3D-056). Ink blend around the edges with Dark Spruce ink. Add Pearl Gold Watercolor Mixing Set (WC-001). Set panel aside to dry.
  • Die Cut Florals using Scallop Journal Card (S4-1438) and Be Bold Blooms (S5-502) with White, Fern and Gold Glitter card stock. 
  • BetterPress "A Little Something to Make You Smile" sentiment using You Are Everything Sentiments (BP-110) with Dark Spruce ink and BetterPress Porcelain cotton card stock. Die Cut using coordinating die.
  • Assemble card.
  • Embellish with Gold Pearls
