Today I'm sharing a couple of cards I created with the NEW Space Friends Stamp & Die Bundle by Simon Hurley. This set is a perfect add on to Simon's Space Adventure Collection that was released last month. You can find the full collection HERE.
Card #1 - I Love You To The Moon And Back
White A2 Top Fold Card Base: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" (4 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2")
Powder Blue/Ink Blended A2 Panel: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2"
Whisper Moon: 2 3/4" x 2"
Black Sentiment Strip: 2" x 3/4"
Copic Markers Used:
Astronaut: B23, B24, B26 and W1, W3
Rocket: R24, R29 and W3, W4, W5, W7
Steps to Create Card:
- Create White A2 Top Fold Card Base measuring: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" (4 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2").
- Cut Powder Blue A2 Panel measuring: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2". Ink Blend Panel using Powder Blue, Blue Denim and Black Onyx ink. Add Black & White splatter using Indigo Watercolor/Spellbinders +Yasutomo Water Color Mixing Set (WC-001) and Splatter White Opaque (SCS+328). Set panel aside to dry.
- Stamp images using Space Friends Stamp & Die Bundle (BD-0956) and color with Copic Markers. Colors used are listed above. Die Cut out using coordinating Dies.
- Stamp and emboss "I Love You To The Moon And Back" sentiment using Space Friends Stamp & Die Bundle (BD-0956) with Versamark ink on Black card stock and White Embossing Powder. Trim into a strip measuring: 2" x 3/4".
- Create the little moon by die cutting a 2 3/4" circle using Everlasting Circles (S4-1280) with Whisper card stock. Trim the circle to be 2" tall. Next add the "Swiss Cheese" detail with 1/2" and 3/4" circle dies. Lightly ink blend around with circles with Whisper ink to give it a little detail.
- Die Cut White Stars using To The Moon (S4-1418).
- Assemble card.
- Embellish stars with Diamond Stickles.
Card #2 - You Are Out Of This World Amazing
Card Measurements:
White A2 Top Fold Card Base: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" (4 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2")
Powder Blue/Ink Blended Circle: 3 5/8" x 4"
Whisper Moon: 1 3/8"
Black Sentiment Strip: 3" x 3/4"
Copic Markers Used:
UFO: V20, V22, V25 and YG93, YG95, YG97 and W3, W5
Aliens: V20, V22, V25 and YG93, YG95, YG97
Steps to Create Card:
- Create White A2 Top Fold Card Base measuring: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" (4 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2").
- Cut Powder Blue A2 Panel measuring: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2". Ink Blend Panel using Powder Blue, Blue Denim and Black Onyx ink. Add Black & White splatter using Indigo Watercolor/Spellbinders +Yasutomo Water Color Mixing Set (WC-001) and Splatter White Opaque (SCS+328). Set panel aside to dry. Once panel is dry cut out a 4" circle using Everlasting Circles (S4-1280).
- Stamp images using Space Friends Stamp & Die Bundle (BD-0956) and color with Copic Markers. Colors used are listed above. Die Cut out using coordinating Dies.
- Stamp and emboss "You Are Out Of This World Amazing" sentiment using Space Friends Stamp & Die Bundle (BD-0956) with Versamark ink on Black card stock and White Embossing Powder. Trim into a strip measuring: 3" x 3/4".
- Die Cut moon using To The Moon (S4-1418) with Whisper card stock. Ink blend with Whisper ink.
- Die Cut White Stars using To The Moon (S4-1418).
- Assemble card.
- Embellish stars with Diamond Stickles and Glaze 'N Glue on the Aliens Eyes.
