Happy New Year!!
It's a brand new year and I get to kick off the first challenge of 2025 as the hostess. With Valentine's Day coming up soon I thought that it would be fun to challenge you with the colors Red & Kraft! Of course you can create any type of card.
For my card sample I created a Tall & Skinny card featuring Spellbinders NEW Love on the Rocks Collection. If you have never made a Tall & Skinny card, they are a bit smaller than a Mini Slimline and fit into an standard A2 sized envelope.
White Tall & Skinny Card Base: 3 1/2" x 5 1/2" (3 1/2" x 11", scored at 5 1/2")
White Embossed Panel: 3 1/8" x 5 1/8"
White Foiled Sentiment: 1 7/8" x 3/4"
Steps to Create Card:
- Create White Tall & Skinny Top Fold Card Base measuring: 3 1/2" x 5 1/2" (3 1/2" x 11", scored at 5 1/2").
- Cut White Panel measuring: 3 1/8" x 5 1/8". Emboss panel using Tiny Dots Embossing Folder (SES-051).
- Die Cut Strawberries using Love on the Rocks (S6-668) with Red Hot, Cherry Red, Kraft, Chocolate Truffle and Gold Glitter card stock. Add ink highlights with Amalgam Chocolate Truffle and Cherry Red ink. Assemble strawberries.
- Hot Foil "Cheers To Us On Valentine's Day" using Valentine Happy Hour (BP-257) with Gold Foil (GLF-014) and White card stock. Die cut with coordinating die.
- Die Cut little heart accents using Love on the Rocks (S6-668) with Red Hot card stock. Use to embellish card.
- Assemble card.
