It's December and time to open our Spellbinders 2024 Crafty Advent Calendar! I thought I would start a day late to ensure everyone had a chance to open Day 1.
Drum roll...behind Door number 1 is the most adorable little Hot Air Balloon die!! I live in Northern California and see lots of Hot Air Balloons in the sky.
My card features the Hot Air Balloon (S2-389 W1) and the NEW Tiny Hearts Scallop SD Embossing Folder of the Month (3EOM-DEC24) and a sentiment from Bestie Sentiments Press Plate & Die (BP-225) foiled with Gold Foil (GLF-014).
Card Measurements:
White A2 Top Fold Card Base: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" (4 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2")
Layering Weight White Panel (Ink Blended/Embossed): 3 3/4" x 5"
White Foiled Sentiment: 1 11/16" x 1/2"
Steps to Create Card:
- Create White A2 Card Base measuring: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" (4 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2").
- Cut Layering Weight White A2 Card Panel measuring: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2". Ink Blend Panel with Peach Bellini ink. Emboss Panel using Tiny Hearts Scallop SD Embossing Folder of the Month (3EOM-DEC24). Trim panel to measure 3 3/4" x 5".
- Die Cut 2 Hot Air Balloons using Hot Air Balloon (S2-389 W1) with White, Peach Bellini, Coral Reef and Kraft card stock. Assemble Hot Air Balloons.
- Glimmer "Live In The Moment" sentiment using Bestie Sentiments Press Plate & Die (BP-225) foiled with Gold Foil (GLF-014). Die cut sentiment out with coordinating die.
- Assemble card.
- Embellish with Mocha Pearl Mix.
