Spellbinders | October 2024 Stencil of the Month

A NEW month means NEW CLUB KITS over at Spellbinders! Today I'm sharing the NEW October 2024 Stencil of the Month Club Kit. If you are not already a subscriber of the Stencil of the Month Club, registration is NOW open and can be found HERE.

The NEW Stencil of the Month is called, Baubles & Festive Background (SOM-OCT24). There are two backgrounds included in this months set. A roll of foil is also include. For my card sample I also used the NEW Festive Friends Small Die of the Month (DOM-OCT24) and a sentiment from the Design A Plaid BetterPress of the Month (BPOM-OCT24) foiled with Opaque White Foil (GLF-049).
 
Card Measurements:
White A2 Card Base: 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" (5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored at 4 1/4")
White Stenciled Panel: 5" x 3 3/4"
Penguin: 1 5/8" x 1 3/4"
Black Foiled Sentiment Banner: 3" x 1/4"

Steps to Create Card:
  • Create White A2 Card Base measuring: 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" (5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored at 4 1/4").
  • Cut White A2 Panel measuring: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2". Use Baubles & Festive Stencil of the Month (SOM-OCT24) with Red Hot, Cherry Red, Key Lime, Fresh Asparagus and Prickly Pear ink. Trim panel to measure: 5" x 3 3/4".
  • Die cut and assemble penguin using Festive Friends Small Die of the Month (DOM-OCT24.
  • Foil "Warm Winter Wishes" sentiment using Design A Plaid BetterPress of the Month (BPOM-OCT24) with Opaque White Foil (GLF-049). Die cut out with coordinating die.
  • Assemble card. 
  • Embellish Penguin's Hat with Diamond Stickles.
