Color Hues Color Challenge #92 | Hello

It's time for us to share the next Hues of Color over at the Color Hues Challenge Blog! The colors that have been chosen for you to create with are Pink and Brown for the next two weeks! We can't wait to see how you are inspired!
 
Here's my take...
 
My card features Spellbinders NEW Peacock Butterfly (S6-238) and Peacock Motif 3D Embossing Folder (S3D-096) from the Peacock Paradise Collection. The sentiment is from the A Little Hello Sentiments (SDS-191).
 
Card Measurements:
White A2 Top Fold Card Base: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" (4 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2")
White A2 Ink Blended/Embossed Panel: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2"
Peacock Butterfly: 4 3/4" x 4 1/8"
Hello Sentiment: 2 1/2" x 1 1/4"

Steps to Create Card:
  • Create White A2 Top Fold Card Base measuring: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" (4 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2").
  • Cut White A2 Panel measuring: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2". Ink Blend Panel using Guava and Rose ink with it being dark at the bottom and fade up for a gradient blend. Emboss panel with Peacock Motif 3D Embossing Folder (S3D-096).
  • Die Cut Butterfly using Peacock Butterfly (S6-238) with Meadow Collection (Light Pink & Berry Pink), Fruit Punch and Timber card stock. Assemble butterfly.
  • Die Cut Three "Hello" sentiment using A Little Hello Sentiments (SDS-191) with Timber card stock. Stack and Glue the three sentiments together for a thick embellishment.
  • Assemble card.
  • Embellish with Smokey Topaz Color Essential Gems (SCS-344)

  5. Hi Sheri! I once had a nickname of 'brown-eyed butterfly' so how could I not be gasping at this beauty! What a combo the butterfly die and EF make - this is stunning!
