I thought it would be fun to share a couple Christmas in July projects I created using Creative Worship Stamps Shiplap Background stamp to create a rustic background. This stamp would also be perfect for masculine cards.
Card #1 - Happy Holidays
White A2 Top Fold Card Base: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" (4 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2")
Charcoal Brown Mat: 3 7/8" x 5 1/8"
Crumb Cake Panel: 3 3/4" x 5"
Charcoal Brown Rectangle Mat: 2 1/16" x 3 1/4"
White Stitched Rectangle: 1 15/16" x 3 1/8"
Steps to Create Card:
- Create White A2 Top Fold Card Base measuring: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" (4 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2").
- Cut Charcoal Brown Mat measuring: 3 7/8" x 5 1/8".
- Cut Crumb Cake A2 Panel measuring: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2". Stamp Shiplap Background stamp using Crumb Cake ink. I used a Misti stamp positioner. Trim panel to measure: 3 3/4" x 5". Ink blend around the edges with Crumb Cake and Charcoal Brown ink. Add White Paint Splatter and set panel aside to dry.
- Cut Charcoal Brown Rectangle Mat measuring: 2 1/16" x 3 1/4".
- Die Cut White Stitched Rectangle measuring: 1 15/16" x 3 1/8". Stamp "Happy Holidays" sentiment using Holiday Cheer stamp set in Black ink.
- Stamp Poinsettia and Leaves using Poinsettia Wishes with Red Velvet and Fresh Asparagus ink. Die Cut with coordinating dies.
- Die Cut Fresh Asparagus Foliage using Foliage Silhouettes die set.
- Assemble card.
- Embellish Poinsettia center with Chocolate Jewel Mix.

Card #2 - Merry Christmas
Card Measurements:
White A2 Top Fold Card Base: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" (4 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2")
Charcoal Brown Mat: 3 7/8" x 5 1/8"
Steps to Create Card:
Crumb Cake Panel: 3 3/4" x 5"
Charcoal Brown Rectangle Mat: 2 1/16" x 3 1/4"
White Stitched Rectangle: 1 15/16" x 3 1/8"
Copic Markers:
Red Stripes: R24, R27, R29
Leaves: YG93, YG95, YG97
Steps to Create Card:

- Cut Charcoal Brown Mat measuring: 3 7/8" x 5 1/8".

- Die Cut White Stitched Rectangle measuring: 1 15/16" x 3 1/8". Stamp "Merry Christmas" sentiment using Holiday Cheer stamp set in Black ink.
- Stamp Candy Cane using Holiday Cheer stamp set with Black ink. Color image with Copic Markers (listed above). Die Cut with coordinating die.
- Assemble card.
- Embellish with Red Twine, Glaze 'n Glue (Red Candy Cane Stripes) & White Posca Paint Pen (Polka Dots on Bow).
