PRODUCT LINKS BELOW CONTAIN COMPENSATED AFFILIATE LINKS AT NO COST

It's time for us to share the next Hues of Color over at the Color Hues Challenge Blog! The colors that have been chosen for you to create with are Sage and Pink for the next two weeks! We can't wait to see how you are inspired!

Here's my take...

My card features the NEW Twisted Stems Layering Stencil and a sentiment from the Delicate Flowers stamp set that are part of the Sunny Days Card Kit. I used Dusty Rose, Passionate Pink and Dark Sage for my inks. Sympathy/Encouragement cards are never easy to make but love how this came together.

Card Measurements:
Dark Sage A2 Top Fold Card Base: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" (4 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2")
Black Onyx Mat: 3 5/8" x 4 7/8" - Master Layout #2
Layering Weight White Stitched Panel: 3 1/2" x 4 3/4" - Master Layout #2
Layering Weight White Panel (Inside): 3 5/8" x 4 7/8" - Master Layout #2

Steps to Create Card:
  • Cut Dark Sage Card Base measuring: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" (4 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2").
  • Die Cut Black Onyx Mat measuring: 3 5/8" x 4 7/8" using Master Layout #2.
  • Die Cut Layering Weight White Panel to measure 3 5/8" x 4 7/8" using Master Layout #2 to line the inside of the card.
  • Take A2 Layering Weight White Panel and use Twisted Stems Layering Stencil using Dusty Rose, Passionate Pink and Dark Sage ink. You will then use the Stitched Die from Master Layout #2 to trim panel to measure: 3 1/2" x 4 3/4".
  • Stamp Sentiment from Delicate Flowers stamp set with Black Obsidian ink in upper right corner.
  • Assemble Card.
  • Embellish with Smoky Topaz Gems

  4. Gina K's card kits are among my favorite purchases. I passed on this one, and can tell it was probably a mistake. I love this beautiful stencil, and the flowers are so beautiful in the pink and sage colors you chose.
