  Today I'm back with a card featuring Spellbinders NEW Propagation Garden Collection by Annie Williams. You can find the full collection HERE. 

 

My card features the NEW Propagated Plants (S6-230), Laboratory Glassware (S4-1334), Propagation Garden Frames (S5-622) and a sentiment from the Propagation Garden Sentiments Stamp & Die (SDS-189). 

 

I had fun creating a full wood background panel using the wood pieces from the Propagation Garden Frames (S5-622). I will definitely be using this idea for  future masculine card designs as it's a perfect backdrop.

Card Measurements:

White A2 Top Fold Card Base: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" (4 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2"

Wood Background Panel: 3 7/8" x 5 1/8"

Portobello Sentiment Strip: 2 9/16" x  9/16"

Steps to Create Card: 

• Create White A2 Top Fold Card Base measuring: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" (4 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2".
• Create Wood Pieces for Background Panel by die-cutting a bunch of the different size boards using Propagation Garden Frames (S5-622) with Portobello card stock. Then add ink blending to the boards giving them different looks with Distress Oxide Ground Espresso, Scorched Timber and Rusty Hinge. On an A2 white card panel randomly arrange and glue your boards to create your panel. You will then trim panel to measure: 3 7/8" x 5 1/8".
• Die Cut Plants using Propagated Plants (S6-230) with Peridot and Fern card stock. Add ink blending with Fresh Asparagus ink. 
• Die Cut 2 planters using the Laboratory Glassware (S4-1334) with White card stock. Add color using  Distress Oxide Ground Espresso, Scorched Timber and Rusty Hinge.
• Stamp sentiment from Propagation Garden Sentiments Stamp & Die (SDS-189) with Black ink on Portobello card stock.
• Assemble card.
• Embellish with Clear Glass Bubble.
