Today's project features the NEW A2 Gift Card Holder and Envelope Die (S7-247). It creates a pocket for a gift card inside an A2 landscape fold card base. With a little trimming I was able to create an A2 portrait fold card base. I love giving gift cards and this is the perfect way to dress one up.

Card Measurements (Outside):

White A2 Top Fold Card Base: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" (4 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2")

Innocent Pink Embossed A2 Panel: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2"

White Hexi-Gems Frame: 2 15/16" x 4 7/16" (outside frame) & 2 7/16" x 3 3/4" (inside frame)

Sentiment: 15/16" x 11/16" ("for" Vellum Outline) & 1 1/4" x 1/2" ("you" vellum outline)

Card Measurements (Inside):

Dusty Rose Mats: 4" x 5 1/4"

Innocent Pink Panels: 3 3/4" x 5"

Card Holder Insert: 4" x 1 1/4"

Sentiment: 1 7/8" x 1/2" (Happy) & 2 5/8" x 1/2" (Birthday)

Steps to Create Card:

Front of Card:

Create White A2 Top Fold Card Base measuring: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" (4 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2").
Cut Innocent Pink A2 Card Panel measuring: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2". Emboss panel with Meandering Floral Embossing Folder of the Month (EOM-NOV23).
Create White Hexi Frame using Essential Hexi-Gems (S5-588) to measure: 2 15/16" x 4 7/16" (outside frame) & 2 7/16" x 3 3/4" (inside frame).
Die Cut floral elements using Fresh Picked Daisies (S6-224) with Dusty Rose, Peridot, Black and White Glitter card stock. Add ink blending to pink flowers using Passionate Pink ink and Fresh Asparagus ink to the greenery.
Die Cut "For You" sentiment using A2 Gift Card Holder and Envelope (S6-224) with White Glitter card stock and Vellum.
Assemble onto Innocent Pink Panel and for finishing touches add rhinestones. Attach to white A2 card base after you assemble the inside.

Inside of Card:

Die Cut 2 Large Layers using A2 Gift Card Holder and Envelope (S6-224) with Dusty Rose card stock.
Die Cut 2 Small Layers using A2 Gift Card Holder and Envelope (S6-224) with Innocent Pink card stock.
Cut Dusty Rose panel to 5" x 5 1/2". Fold into half with bone folder at 2 1/2" on the 5" side. Place Gift Card Holder die piece from A2 Gift Card Holder and Envelope (S6-224) slightly off top and die cut. To convert to a portrait size card, trim each side a total of 5/8". It's 4 5/8" and will be trimmed to 4".
Assemble & Decorate. (I added Happy Birthday sentiment from the set and an extra Fresh Picked Daisies (S6-224) from the front.
