It's time for us to share the next Hues of Color over at the Color Hues Challenge Blog! The colors that have been chosen for you to create with are Turquoise and Green for the next two weeks! We can't wait to see how you are inspired!

Here's my take...

My card features Gina K. Designs NEW Layered Carnation Stencil and Spring Friends stamp & die from the All Things Spring Card Kit. I created the postage design using Master Layout #11 and Master Layout #9.

Card Measurements:
White A2 Top Fold Card Base: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" (4 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2")
Sea Glass Embossed A2 Panel: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2"
White Postage Grid: 3 1/4" x 4 9/16" - Master Layout #11
White Postage Rectangles: 1 3/8" x 2" - Master Layout 9
Spring Blessings Sentiment: 1 3/8" x 5/8"

Steps to Create Card:
  • Create Heavy White A2 Top Fold Card Base measuring: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" (4 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2").
  • Cut Sea Glass A2 Panel measuring: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2". Emboss panel with Swiss Dot Embossing Folder
  • Cut Layering Weight White Panel measuring: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" and die cut the large Postage Grid from Master Layout #11.
  • Cut Layering Weight White Panel measuring: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" and use Layered Carnation Stencil along with Sea Glass, Tranquil Teal, Jelly Bean Green and Fresh Asparagus ink. Add white paint splatters. Create postage rectangles using the grid die from Master Layouts #9.
  • Stamp postage images and sentiment from Spring Friends using black ink.
  • Assemble Card.
  • Embellish with Clear Quartz Sequins.
