A NEW month means NEW CLUB KITS over at Spellbinders! Today I'm sharing the NEW February 2024 Glimmer of the Month Club. Please note if you are not already a subscriber, registration is NOW open and can be found HERE.

The February 2024 Glimmer of the Month is called Daffodil Spray (GOM-FEB24). I pulled out two shades of purple distress oxides inks to create my background and the "You Brighten My Day" sentiment from the set.

Card Measurements:

White Mini Slimline Top Fold Card Base: 6 1/2" x 3 1/2"

White Mat: 3 1/8" x 6 1/8"

Ink Blended/Glimmered Panel: 3" x 6:

Sentiment: 1 9/16" x 1 1/4"

Steps to Create Card:

Create White Mini Slimline Card Base Measuring: 6 1/2" x 3 1/2". I prefer top folding card bases so I create them using the "hinge" method. Cut 1 6 1/2" x 3 1/2" and 1 7 1/2" x 3 1/2" panels. Take the 7 1/2" x 3 1/2" panel and score 1" from the top to create the hinge and fold over to lay on top of the panel. You will then add strong adhesive and attach to the back of the other panel.
Die Cute White Mat using Precision Layering Mini Slimline B (S4-1166) to measure: 3 1/8" x 6 1/8".
Cut White Panel to ink blend. I started off with a half sheet (5 1/2" x 8 1/2") of Hammermill card stock so I had more flexibility to place my plate and die cut my panel along with room for my sentiment. Starting at the bottom of the panel ink blend Villainous Potion Distress Oxide and then the Wilted Violet Distress Oxide as you moved up.
Take the ink blended panel and foil the Daffodil Spray (GOM-FEB24) with Champagne Foil (GLF-025).
Die Cut glimmered panel using Precision Layering Mini Slimline A (S4-1158) to measure: 3" x 6".
Foil "You Brighten My Day" sentiment using Daffodil Spray (GOM-FEB24) with Champagne Foil (GLF-025) and die cut with coordinating die.
Assemble Card.
Embellish with Clear Quartz Sequins.
