Color Hues Color Challenge #76 | Christmas Greetings

PRODUCT LINKS BELOW CONTAIN COMPENSATED AFFILIATE LINKS AT NO COST

It's time for us to share the next Hues of Color over at the Color Hues Challenge Blog! The colors that have chosen for you to create with are Red and Metallic Gold for the next two weeks! We can't wait to see how you are inspired!

Here's my take...

I created an elegant CAS (clean & Simple) holiday card featuring Spellbinders recently released Poinsettia Bloom (S4-1293). To add a little dimension to the poinsettia I used a couple red copic markers to add some highlights to the base of the flower petals. I foiled a sentiment from the Mini Christmas Sentiment Strips Glimmer Hot Foil & Die (GLP-296) with gold foil. For embellishment I added a few red sequins.

Card Measurements:
White A2 Top Fold Card Base: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" (4 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2")
White Panel: 3 3/4" x 5"
Poinsettia: 3 11/16" x 4 1/2" (approx)
Red Foiled Sentiment Strip: 2 5/8" x 1/4"

Copic Markers:
Poinsettia Highlights: R29, R24
