Spellbinders NEW October 2023 Arrivals are NOW available and can be found in the store HERE. Today I'm showcasing one of the NEW 3D Embossing Folders included in the Simon's Snow Globe Collection.
My card features the NEW Playful Poinsettia 3D Embossing Folder (E3D-072). It includes one thin metal cutting die shaped into a Poinsettia
flower. Die-cut the flower shape first and then match up the shape with
the embossed shape in the 3D Embossing Folder for beautiful embossed texture.
I started off embossing a white card stock panel and then taking a trio of blue ink (Powder Blue, Blue Denim & In The Navy) from lightest to darkest to ink blend and create my blue poinsettia embossed background panel. I then die cut a poinsettia with the coordinating die and embossed and ink blended to coordinate with my background. I ink splattered both for a little texture. I then cut 1/4" strips of Blue Denim and Brushed Silver card stock to put behind my focal Essential Arches (S5-526) panel. The sentiment is from the NEW Wonderful Winter Sentiments (GLP-433) and foiled in silver. For finishing touches I added a few silver sequins.

White A2 Top Fold Card Base: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" (4 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2")
White Embossed Panel: 4" x 5 1/4"
Blue Denim & Brushed Silver Strips: 1/4" x 8 1/2" (trim to fit)
White Arched Panel: 2 1/2" x 3 3/4"
Blue Sentiment Strip:3 1/8" x 7/8"
*Also used Silver Matte Pearls (unknown)
