A NEW month means NEW CLUB KITS over at Spellbinders! Today I'm sharing both of the NEW October 2023 Embossing Club Kits. They are NOW available for purchase on subscription over in the store HERE.

My first card features the NEW Christmas Tile embossing folder from the Embossing Club (2D). I created a Tall & Skinny card featuring the Make It Merry Florals (S4-1288) and Make It Merry Sentiments (S1-124).

I started off embossing a panel of glacier with the NEW Christmas Tile embossing folder. I then took a white pigment ink pad direct to the panel to pull out the embossing. Then I lightly ink blended around the outer edges with a light blue ink. The flower assembly using the Make It Merry Florals (S4-1288) was next and then once I had the layout arranged I attached the flowers and added a little ink splattering to soften the card. For finishing touches I added a sentiment from the Make It Merry Sentiments (S1-124) and sprinkled a few white pearls.

Card Measurements:

White Top Fold Card Base: 3 1/2" x 5 1/2" (3 1/2" x 11", scored at 5 1/2")

Glacier Embossed Panel: 3" x 5"

Sentiment Strip: 2 11/16" x 3/8"

My second card features the NEW 3D Flowering Christmas Tree Burst embossing folder 3D Embossing Club.

I started off by taking the 3D Flowering Christmas Tree Burst folder and embossing a Fern card panel. I then added a little ink blending around the edges with a dark green ink. For the sentiment I foiled the sentiment from the Holiday Foliage Joy BetterPress Plate (BP-063) with green foil. This was my first time foiling a BetterPress plate and definitely will be foiling all my plates to stretch their usage. I then cut the sentiment out using the Essential Hexi-Gems (S5-588) along with a green mat and popped it up on my embossed panel. For finishing touches I added a few pearls.

White A2 Top Fold Card Base: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" (4 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2")

Fern Embossed Panel: 3 7/8" x 5 1/8"

Fern Hexi-Gems Mat: 2 1/2" x 3 3/4"

White Foiled Hexi-Gems Panel: 2 3/16" x 3 3/8"
