It's time for us to share the next Hues of Color over at the Color Hues Challenge Blog! This colors that have chosen for you to create with are Coral and Blue for the next two weeks! We can't wait to see how you are inspired!

Here's my take...

I thought it would be fun to create a non traditional Christmas card with the colors. I pulled some products from Sweet 'N Sassy Stamps release last month. I started off using the NEW Layering Holly Stencil with Gina K Powder Blue, Blue Denim and Coral Reed. to tone down the white of the panel I softly ink blending from the outside in with the Powder Blue ink and a super light hand with the Blue denim.

Next I stamped the middle size holy and berries from the Holly Jolly stamp set in the same three colors and used the coordinating die to cut them out. I then stamped a sentiment from the Christmas Sentiments set with Blue Denim on a trip of white card stock that I will trim down and mat. I also added a little ink blending to the edges with Powder blue. You will then assemble the pieces onto a white card panel. For finishing touches I added glossy accents to the holly berries and a few clear sequins.

Card Measurements:
White A2 Top Fold Card Base: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" (4 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2"
Blue Denim Mat: 3 3/4" x 5"
White Stenciled Panel: 3 5/8" x 4 7/8"
Blue Denim Sentiment Strip Mat: 3 1/8" x 1 5/8"
White Sentiment Strip Panel: 3" x 1 1/2"2 1/16" x
