It's time for us to share the next Hues of Color over at the Color Hues Challenge Blog! I'm hosting this challenge and have chosen for you to create with Teal and Orange for the next two weeks! We can't wait to see how you are inspired!
Here's my take...
My card shares a great way to create a background panel with using scraps of card stock. I selected three shades of card stock to use and used a rectangle die measuring 1 5/16" x 2 9/16" and cut out a total of 9 rectangles (3 of each color). You will then trim 2 of each color to 1 5/16" x 1 1/4" for the top and bottom. Arrange your panels and attach to a white A2 card panel or directly to the A2 card base. They can be attached directly or you can add a bit of dimension and use for tape like I did. A sentiment from the Big Birthday stamp set by Gina K. Designs is stamped on the same size rectangle. For added detail I then matted it with the two teal colors. For embellishments I added a few enamel dots. Thought this would be a great masculine design. What do you think?
