Hello Sweet Friends!
Today's card features Sweet 'N Sassy Stamps NEW Sew Happy stamp set and Cross Stitched Stencil from the July 2023 Release.
As soon as I saw the NEW Sew Happy stamp set I knew I wanted to create a fun quilt background. It was super easy and a great way to use up small scraps of your favorite pattern papers.
How to Create Quilt Background
- Select a color pallet and mix of patterns from your scrap bin and cut them into strips (I used a sentiment strip die set to get a good assortment of sizes).
- Cut a 4 1/4" square piece of copy paper and add some adhesive to the entire square and start randomly placing the strips to create a fun pattern. After the block is filled, cut it down to a 4 1/8" square (I used a wonky stitch square die).
White Top Fold Square Card Base: 4 1/2" x 4 1/2" (4 1/2" x 9", scored at 4 1/2")
Quilt Background Panel: 4 1/8" x 4 1/8"
White Stenciled Circle: 2 3/4"
*Images colored with Copic Markers
Compensated affiliate links used when possible. If you place an order after clicking on one of my links, I will receive a small commission at no cost to you. Thank you for your support!
