Hello Sweet Friends!
Today's card features Sweet 'N Sassy Stamps NEW Seashell Greetings stamp set from the June 2023 Release. I created a fun seashell design with lots of texture.
I started off with a white panel and ink blended three shades of teal (Gina K. Designs Sea Glass, Turquoise Sea and Tranquil Teal) starting with the lightest shade at the top. Next I embossed the panel with Spellbinders Scattered Shells 3D embossing folder before taking a white pigment ink pad direct to the panel to bring out the embossed pattern. Make sure to lightly rub any access ink off with a microfiber cloth or paper towel.
For the seashell images I lightly ink blended a strip of card stock (large enough for the three images) with the lightest shade of ink (Sea Glass) and then stamped the images with the darkest shade of ink (Tranquil Teal). Next cut out the images out with the coordinating dies or in my case I fussy cut them out.
I then stamped the sentiment in Tranquil teal and ink blended a mat to create a perfect match to my other ink blending. Finally assemble card by arranging the shells on sentiment panel. For final touches and a little added texture I attached a piece of textured ribbon and a few clear bubble embellishments.
*I've received lots of interest on the net ribbon, I found it in the ribbon section at Dollar Tree. It's in with the ribbon but not on a spool but wound up on itself and tied with a piece of twine. I actually picked it up and tossed it back before taking a closer look. Love the texture it has added to my nautical projects.
