Here's a closer look at the two cards I shared in today's release post over on the Kat Scrappiness blog featuring the NEW Friends Under The Sea Release! Be sure to head over when you are done here for more inspiration by the Creative Crew!

My first card features the NEW Friends Under the Sea Stamp Set and Friends Under the Sea 6x6 Paper Pad and Stitched Waves Die Set. A Coordinating die set is also available on pre-order. I started off stamping the turtle with alchol friendly ink and using copic markers to color. I then created a little underwater scene to spotlight him.

Card Measurements:

White Square Card Base: 4 1/4" x 4 1/4" (4 1/4" x 8 1/2", scored at 4 1/4")

Stitched Pattern Paper Square Panel: 4" x 4"

Circle Cut Out: 2 7/8"

For my second card I created a full front shaker card design using the NEW Friends Under the Sea Stamp Set and Friends Under the Sea 6x6 Paper Pad, Scene Builder 6x6 Stencil, Stitched Waves Dies and Summer Vibes Word Die w/Shadow. The NEW & IMPROVED A2 Full Front Shaker Pockets are now the perfect weight to create quick & easy full front shaker cards. I just had to use the adorable whale and for the sentiment to match perfectly I took one of the Copic markers I used to color with and with the chisel tip I applied color onto a piece of scrap white and die cut the Summer Vibes word die.

Card Measurements:

White A2 Top Fold Card Base: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" (4 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2")

White Layering Weight Panel: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2"

Stitched Waves: 4 1/4" x 1 1/2"

Cork Sand Bar: 4 1/4" x 1"
