It's time for a new challenge over at Color Hues Challenge Blog! We are challenging you to use the colors Blue & Purple!
Before we get to today's challenge we are saddened
to share the news that we lost our treasured friend and teammate,
Lindsey, last week, following her hard-fought battle with cancer. The challenge colors were chosen by Lindsey and I will be using two of her favorites (flowers & friendship) as I honor her today.
My card features the Seeds of Joy collaboration stamp set by Gina K. Designs and Brutus Monroe. I pulled out three shades of distress oxide inks (Villainous Potion, Broken China & Chipped Sapphire) to create my background before stamping the beautiful floral image in black. I stamped and embossed the "Sweet Friend" sentiment in white and added a few Clear Quartz sequins as embellishment. All products used are listed below.
White A2 Top Fold Card Base: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" (4 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2")
Black Mat: 3 7/8" x 5 1/8" - Master Layout 1
Layering Weight White Panel: 3 3/4" x 5" - Master Layout 1
Black Sentiment Strip: 2 3/16" x 5/8" - Sentiment Labels
