I'm excited to be joining Gina K Designs for the March 2022 Release! I have a couple cards that I created to share during tonight's LIVE over on the Gina K. Designs Facebook Page, YouTube Channel and Twitch.

I have created two cards with the NEW Happy Hens stamp set illustrated by Deborah Warner. This set does have a coordinating die set available and it can be found HERE.

For my first card I created a fun mini slimline card with the help of Master Layouts 7. I added a little texture with an embossing folder from my stash and I also did a little ink blending with Kraft ink. For even more texture I pulled out some burlap ribbon that I picked up at the Dollar Tree a couple years back and I thought it was perfect for the design. The sentiment is embossed in white on a piece of Black Onyx card stock.

Card Measurements:

Kraft Mini Slimline Card Base: 6" x 3 1/4" (6" x 6 1/2", scored at 3 1/4" on the 6 1" x /2" side).

Black Mat: 5 7/8" x 2 7/8" - Master Layout 7

Ivory Stitched Panel: 5 3/4" x 2 3/4" - Master Layout 7

Black Distress Strip: 5 3/4" x 1"

Strip of Burlap Ribbon: 6 3/4" x 1 9/16" & Wrap twine around card three times.

Black Circle Mat: 2" - Master Layout 5

Kraft Stitched Circle: 1 7/8" - Master Layout 5

Sentiment Strip: 1 5/8" x 3/8"

My second card features an A2 design using the help of Master Layout 1, 2, 5 & 6). Can you tell I'm a big fan of the Master Layout System? A lot of the design is repeated from my card above but I had so much fun making it that I thought I would see what it would look like as a full size card. I also pulled out my Tim Holtz distress tool and distressed all the panels. Hope you enjoyed my cards and are inspired to step out of your comfort zone and try something different line I did with the distressing with ink and the tool.
