I'm excited to be joining Gina K. Designs for the February 2022 Release!
I have a couple cards that I created to share during tonight's LIVE
Release Party over on the Gina K. Designs Facebook Page, YouTube channel
and Twitch.
--------
My first card features the NEW Baby Love stamp set illustrated by Debrah Warner. This set does have a coordinating die set available.
It's the perfect set to create adorable baby cards with. For my sample I created a CAS (clean and simple) Welcome Little One card. I used the Heartfelt Stencil and did a little ink blending. The baby buggy is embossed in white and ink blended along with the scallop panel. It's a great way to have everything coordinate. The sentiment is stamped with Amalgam Obsidian ink. Instead of a plain white card base I opted to use a Whisper card base. For embellishments I added a few pearls.
Card Measurements:
Whisper A2 Top Fold Card Base: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" (4 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2")
Layering White Stitched Scallop Rectangle: 3 7/8" x 5" - Master Layout 4
White Stitched Panel: 3 1/4" x 4 3/8" - Master Layout 5
Vellum Circle: 2 1/2"

My second card features the NEW Forest Friends Additions stamp set illustrated by Melanie Muenchiner. This is a companion set to Melanie's Forest Friends stamp set that was release earlier this year. You do need both sets to create your adorable little critters. Each set has a coordinating die set available.
For my card I choose to use the super cute raccoon. I started off by stamping the head and body using Amalgam Obsidian ink on a piece of Stormy Sky card stock. Once the ink was dry I took a white Prisma pencil and colored in all the white spots on his fur. I also added a little detail with a white gel pen and a black glaze pen. I then used the coordinating die sets to cut the pieces out. Next I created an embossed wood panel background using a piece of Kraft card stock and then added both Kraft and Charcoal Brown ink until I got the desired color for the panel. I wanted to create a birthday card for Hubby's upcoming 50th birthday so I pulled out the little Balloon die to add a few balloons and then I dug through my stash and found some fun number and star veneers to add. The final touch was to add a sentiment.
