Here's my take...
Gina K. demonstrated mixing Gold & Silver embossing on one of her videos and this challenge was the perfect opportunity to try the technique! I pulled out Gina K. Designs beautiful Holiday Tapestry stamp set and created a mini slimline card. This technique is super easy...ink up your image with embossing ink and then over scrap paper sprinkle embossing powder. I did each color separately to prevent contamination and to be able to do small sections at a time. To prevent the ink from drying I stamped the panel in two sections to give me time to apply the embossing powders. I love how it turned out and think it would make an amazing wedding or anniversary card! What do you think?

ReplyDeleteI don't have a lot of Gina K designs but this is one of my favorites. I would not have thought to emboss it in gold and silver, but it is so beautiful! The gorgeous font on the sentiment is perfect for the elaborate design behind it.
