I'm
excited to be joining Gina K. Designs for the July 2021 Release! I
have a couple cards I created to share during tonight's LIVE Release
party over on the Gina K. Designs Facebook page, YouTube channel and Twitch.
The fun polka dot background was created by cutting out a bunch of 1 1/2" circles in Sweet Mango card stock and arranging them on a piece of layering white card stock. I then took a piece of vellum and tore both the top and bottom before wrapping it around the card stock and attaching to a heavy weight white card base. Next I stamped the image with Amalgam Obsidian ink and used copic markers to color the image before fussy cutting it out. I then embossed a sentiment onto a piece of black onyx card stock before assembling the card and adding a few Clear Quartz Rhinestones as embellishments.
Card Measurements:
White A2 Top Folding Card Base: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" (4 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2")
Vellum: 3 1/2" x 4 1/4"
Black Sentiment Strip: 2 3/4" x 3/8"
My second card features the NEW Always Delightful stamp set illustrated by Lisa Hetrick. This set also has a coordinating die set available.
I created a mini slimline card base for my sample using a combination of the floral images in the set along with some of my favorite Gina K ink colors (Peach Bellini, Coral Reef, Jelly Bean Green, Fresh Asparagus and Black Onyx). The sentiment is from the Painted Blossoms mini stamp set.
