It's time for a NEW challenge over on the Color Hues Blog! We are challenging you to use the colors Pink & Green!
Here's my take...
I pulled out Gina K. Designs NEW Forever Flowers Card Kit. I stamped and embossed the floral images from the Forever Flowers stamp set in white. I then ink blended the images with Dusty Rose and Jelly Bean Green ink. For the background I dry embossed a white panel using the Leafy Stencil. The sentiment is from the Easter Blessing stamp set from the kit. For the final touch I added a few Clear Quartz Solid rhinestones.
A2 Top Fold Card Base: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" (4 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2")
White Panel: 3 3/4" x 5"
Sentiment Strip: 1 15/16" x 3/8"
Make sure to head over to the Color Hues Blog to join the fun and to see what my talented teammates have created to inspire you!
Beautiful Sherri! At first glance I thought you colored on Vellum. These are so soft and oh so pretty! Love the leaf background as well! Awesome job with the colors as per usual! Take care!
ReplyDeleteYour ink blending is perfection on these! The dry embossing adds just the right amount of extra interest. Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThis is so beautiful! I'm glad I splurged on this kit.
ReplyDeleteYour card is so elegant and simply stunning! I love the soft pastel coloring and layering of the flowers, the subtle embossing, and the sharp contrast of the black sentiment panel! A beautiful example for this color challenge!
