We
are super excited to share the projects we have been creating with this
months sweet release with you! I created two Wedding themed cards to share with you!
My first card features the NEW Mr. & Mrs. stamp set. I wanted to create a clean and simple Wedding Shower card. I stared off by creating the background panel by dry embossing the NEW Script Stencil (check your die cut machine manual for the proper sandwich). I then stamped the wedding dress image with black pigment ink and embossed it using clear embossing powder. The sentiment was stamped on a strip of vellum with black pigment ink and embossed with clear embossing powder before I wrapped it around the dress panel to hide the adhesive. For embellishment I added a few black pearls from my stash.
White A2 Top Fold Card Base: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" (4 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2")
White (Embossed) Panel: 4" x 5 1/4"
Black Mat: 3 1/2" x 4 13/16"
White (Stamped) Panel:3 7/16" x 4 11/16"
Vellum Sentiment Strip: 4 1/4" x 3/4"
My second card features the NEW Everyday Greetings 2 stamp set. I started off by embossing the background panel with a retired Cuttlebug embossing folder. I then cut out a Heart shape and embossed the Best Wishes sentiment from the set with silver embossing powder. I added a strip of sheer ribbon under the heart and scattered some white pearls from my stash. I think it looks like the beading on a wedding dress.
