STAMPtember Gina K. Designs Exclusive Set - Snowflake Cascade

STAMPtember® is here and I'm super excited to share that Gina K. Designs is back this year with another beautiful collaboration set.  This set is called, "Snowflake Cascade" and is an EXCLUSIVE for this event!  This set is available as a stand alone stamp set or with a coordinating die set.  Both options can be found HERE.
Remember...once it's gone, it's gone!!

If you are new to STAMPtember these are exclusive sets and have limited quantities and are ONLY available while supplies last at Simon Says Stamps.  Gina K. Designs will NOT be carrying this set and never will.

-----------------

My first card features a combination of embossing and ink blending. I first stamped and embossed the large snowflake cascade stamp three times with detail gold embossing powder on a piece of Red Velvet card stock. I then took Red Velvet, Charcoal Brown ink and a Life Changing Blender brush and ink blending around the card panel. I just used a touch of the Charcoal Brown to add a little richness. For the sentiment I did a little stamp surgery to stack the sentiment (I promise it doesn't hurt the stamp and it easily lines back up). The Gold mats were created with a piece of layering white card stock and embossing powder.  By creating your own metallic panels it ensures that they will match perfectly.

Card Measurements:
A2 Top Fold Card Base: 4 1/84" x 5 1/2" (4 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2")
Gold Mat: 4" x 5 1/4"
Red Panel: 3 7/8" x 5 1/8"
Gold Sentiment Mat: 2 9/16" x 1 5/16"
Red Sentiment Panel: 2 7/16" x 1 3/16"

For my second card  I created a Wreath Builder card. I took a couple of the snowflakes from the set, the 3 3/4" Wreath Builder template, and a few shades of blue inks.  I then embossed the sentiment on a strip of vellum and wrapped it around the card panel. I then matted it to a piece of Blue Denim card stock before popping it up onto a Powder Blue card base. For embellishments I added a few silver pearls.  This would definitely be an easy one to mass produce for the holidays.

Card Measurements:
Card Base: 4 1/4" Square
Blue Mat: 3 7/8" x 3 7/8"
White Panel: 3 3/4" x 3 3/4"
Vellum Sentiment Strip: 4 1/2" x 3 /4"

  1. Amazing cards, Sheri! Two very different looks with the same images. I love the gold and burgundy on the first card best, it's so elegant.
