Happy Saturday Everyone!
Today I have a Kindness card featuring the Love and Kindness stamp and coordinating die set. This set was designed by Gina K. and Jennifer McGuire to help fund the needs of the people in the Bahamas after the hurricane that devastated their islands. 100% of the net profits from the sale of this set will go to the Global Empowerment Mission.
With the state of the world right now it's the perfect time for us to create cards to express how thankful we are for the Kindness of our healthcare, first responders and essential workers that have been keeping everything going while we shelter safely in place.
I started with a Tall & Skinny card base (5 1/2" x 7", scored at 3 1/2") and turned it on its side. For the background I randomly stamped the palm leaves in Kraft and Jelly Bean Green. Next I stamped a couple of the hibiscus flowers in Bubblegum and Plum Punch along with some leaves in Key Lime. The sentiment is stamped with Amalgam Obsidian. To add a little texture I attached a piece of burlap ribbon before attaching the layers. The flowers and leaves are popped up with foam squares for some added dimension.
