To change things up a bit I created something other than a card to share. One of my favorite gifts to give during the holidays are gift cards! I don't know about you but I'm always looking for ways to package them up other than the plain envelope that they tend to come in or a plain store bought gift bag!
Here are two versions of a decorated sleeve I came up with. They are super easy and can be altered in many ways.
The first one uses a simple bow to close it up. (For today's sample I didn't tie it closed but just around the front of the holder). I also created my own background paper but you could easily use pattern paper.

Here's a peek at the inside where I created a pocket to insert the gift card. I decorated the inside but that is totally optional.
Gift Card Holder Instructions:
- Cut White Card Stock 4" x 8 1/2" (Score on the 8 1/2" side at 1 1/2" & 5", place thin piece of strong adhesive on outer edges of both sides of the 1 1/2" section to create the pocket for the gift card.
- Cut Red Card Stock Layer 3 1/4" X 3 3/4" & 1 1/4" x 4"
- Cut White Card Stock Layer 3 1/8" x 3 5/8" & 1" x 4" (Randomly stamp as shown or you can also use a piece of pattern paper)
- Cut 2 1/4" Circle (Die Cut or Punch)
- Stamp, Color & Fussy Cut Images from Winter Birds stamp set
- Wrap gift card with ribbon and tie bow to create closure.
Make sure to hop along to each of the blogs below and leave a comment at each stop for a chance to win a $50 gift voucher to the Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps shop. Good Luck!!
