Welcome to the first day of the Gina K. Designs Hot Summer Release Part Two blog hop!
There is an awesome prize up for grabs!! Just leave a comment on each stop on the hop for a chance to win a $50 Gina K. Designs gift certificate! A total of TWO certificates will be awarded (one each day of the hop). The winners will be announced over in the StampTV Big News forum a few days after the hop has ended.
Today we are featuring two brand new stamp sets. The first one is illustrated by Lisa Hetrick and is called Just a Little. The second one is illustrated by Alicia Krupsky and is called Grand Garden.
My first card features Lisa's new Just a Little stamp set. This set has endless possibilities! I'm in love with the stripes stamp in the set...as you can see I made a little plaid backdrop for the flowers. I used the splatter stamp that is in the Rose Peonies set from the Sunshine & Love StampTV kit. I went with a fun & vibrant color combo and used Passionate Pink and the new Key Lime.
My second card features Alicia's new Grand Garden stamp set. I'm having a lot of fun with this HUGE flower. It can be colored or just inked up in your favorite ink color as I did on a previous sample I shared at the Release Party. For my card I kept the design very clean by making the flower the focal point of this little 4.25" square card. By keeping it this size it will still fit in a standard A2 envelope and you won't need any extra postage.
Enjoy all the fabulous inspiration as you hop and make sure to comment as you go for a chance to WIN!
