Reverse Confetti | #SYSChallenge - Birthday

Hello Everyone!

Today, I'm playing along with the NEW Stock Your Stash Challenge over at Reverse Confetti.   This month they are challenging us with a Birthday theme.  I was inspired to make my son a card for his birthday...I'm still in complete denial that my baby boy turned 19 this month.  The sentiment is from a retired RC stamp set called, Celebrate Cake (Sorry...I didn't realize it was no longer available).  I also used an embossing folder and a bunch of confetti cut dies.

I'm playing along with the May Monthly Mix Challenge over at StampTV.  Susie Moore is this months hostess and her challenge is called, "Rainbow Stenciling".  All the details can be found HERE.

I was inspired to pull out the GKD Water Droplets stencil and a few Distress Oxide pads to create my background.  I first embossed the stencil using Versamark ink and white embossing powder before I applied the distress oxide ink for a resist background.  The sentiment is from the NEW Rose Peonies stamp set that is in the Sunshine & Love StampTV Kit that was just released.

Gina K. Designs: May Release Blog Hop - Day 3

Welcome back to the final day of the Gina K. Designs May Release blog hop!  Today we are showcasing the NEW Sunshine & Love StampTV Kit along with the Wealth of Wishes Incentive set.

My first card features the NEW Layered Daisies stamp set from the Sunshine & Love Stamp TV Kit.  I started off creating the background layer by taking a piece of Sea Glass card stock and inking up the Petite Flourish Background stamp.  For perfect inking I use the original Misti so I can ink up the stamp multiple times.  I then used Sea Glass, Tranquil Teal & Jelly Bean Green ink to stamp the flowers & leaves.  The sentiment is stamped in Versafine Onyx Black.

My next card features the NEW Rose Peonies stamp set from the Sunshine & Love StampTV Kit.  I first created a piece of plaid pattern paper using the new Diagonal Stripe Background stamp for the top.  I took a piece of Peach Bellini card stock and Coral Reef ink.  You stamp the diagonal twice (Stamp and then turn it once, reink & stamp again).  I also randomly stamped the image at the bottom for a fun black & white pattern.  I used copic markers to color the leaves and a waterbrush and Coral Reef ink for the flower.  The black dots were created with a Extra Fine Black Poster Paint Sharpie pen.

My final card features the NEW Rose Lace Background stamp and a sentiment from the Wealth of Wishes incentive set.  I stamped everything using Versamark ink and then embossed with gold fine detail embossing powder.  Super easy yet a very elegant look.

My first card features Hannah's NEW Sending a Llama Love and Stuck on You Stamp Sets.  I created a fun backdrop using a cactus from the set and then colored up one of the sweet llamas with copic markers.  For the little panel I used an older embossing folder to add a little texture in the background.

My next card features Hannah's NEW Stuck on You stamp set.  I just had to create a card using this sentiment.  I colored the cactus with copic markers and then added some fun googly eyes.

My first card features Melanie's NEW Women of Faith stamp set.  As soon as I saw the set I fell in love with this saying and wanted to make it a focal point on my card.  I stamped it with Black Onyx ink and layered in with the Single Stitched Rectangle die set.  The pattern paper is from my stash and it matched perfectly with Moonlit Fog card stock and then I popped it up on a white card base.

My next card features Emily's NEW Anemone Wishes stamp set.  I'm having so much fun creating with this set.  I stamped the images and colored them with copic markers and then arranged them on the card.  I used some foam squares to make the flowers very dimensional.  I also added some white dot details with a gel pen and embossed the sentiment at the bottom.
